1974 VINTAGE BATMAN 255 100 PAGE SUPER SPECTACULAR SIGNED BY JERRY ROBINSON, COA

Description: DC Comics, Batman Comics # 255 Comic Book (1st Printing) from 1974 COMIC HAND SIGNED BY ARTIST JERRY ROBINSON! (see my other auctions for more signed comics & cards). Comic was hand signed by Jerry Robinson at the New York Big Apple Comic-Con, June 2005. It comes with a POA (Proof Of Authenticity) and a COA (Certificate Of Authenticity. 100 page super spectacular issue! Jerry Robinson is the co-creator of The Joker, Robin & Alfred! Comic is in a VG or better condition. Displays beautifully but has flaws, spine split, creases, see pics. To eliminate some concerns as to the authenticity of an autographed item, I include in most cases, what I call a POA (Proof Of Authenticity), which usually is a copy of the flyer addressed to me, or my proof of admission to the convention and the page listing the artist as a scheduled guest. While I provide certificates for some items, my experience at early conventions is that, the table selling certificates is far removed from most of the artists. As a result, the signing isn't witnessed by the seller of the certificate, so how can this be guaranteed authentic? Another source of certificates are those printed up by the seller who guarantees authenticity!!! Just a thought not to get hung up on certificates. I have been selling signed items on ebay since December 4, 1998. I haven't had any problems with authenticity in all that time! I personally guarantee that the signature is authentic, and was signed by the creator, witnessed by me. If you prefer a certificate I also provide those upon request.
