Description: Add Me to Your Favorite Sellers Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1973 Rickenbacker 4001 with original checkerboard binding that has had the original Burgundyglo finish stripped off and the pearl neck inlays replaced with a type of bronze looking material. It has a great playing neck with great frets. Other parts that have been changed include one strap button and the tailpiece/bridge where the original route was filled to accommadate this flush mount tailpiece. All other parts are original to this bass. A heavy duty universal bass road case is included. There are nicks + dings and other cosmetic wear. The bass itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great as it provides an authentic early '70's 4001 bass tone.
