Don can be seen on the right,behind the pickup truck with his back to the photographer. In an emotional race,Don Prudhomme lost to his long time friend Tom "Mongoose" McEwen in the final ,when "the Snake" smoked his tires and lost. A week earlier Tom McEwen lost his 14 year old son to Leukemia. This 4" x 6" photo is on Premium Photo Paper made from my original negative.
