Description: VINTAGE LARGE BALL SOLID WOOD NEWEL POST SET This is a circa 1970s, solid wood newel post balls with a deep mahoghany~reddish lacquered finish. It measures approximately 5 1/2” W x 7" H~8" H to the end of the dowel. Condition is very good with shallow mars to lacquer finish from light use. Please look at the pictures provided to see if that will be an issue for your project. The newel is constructed with thick slices of wood that are turned.
