Description: An original centerfold from the October 10, 1970 issue of The Black Panther Party newspaper, with a long statement and photographs of riots at the Tombs and other prisons in New York, with a focus on the members of the Black Panther Party as freedom fighters in the demonstrations. At the time of publication, 40 brothers were still refusing to come out. About 23" x 18". The other side of the centerfold features more content focusing on violence and oppression of Black people, with graphics and photos. This is from an issue of a heavily damaged newspaper that I am salvaging. Good shape as shown. Typical tanning and wear. The document is not brittle and is in good, readable shape. It displays extremely well. An amazing piece of history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be. I always combine shipping. Please see the Civil Rights section and the rest of my store for more museum quality artifacts.
