Description: Here we have a glove box latch that was taken from a 1968 Ford Mustang. This is the correct 1968 style with the “rounded off” button. 1967 models had a button with "squared off" sharp edges but in the following model year (1968) they rounded off the button edges to comply with new safety standards so this style is only Concours correct for the 1968 model year. It will also fit 1968 Shelby GT 350 / GT 500 as well as 68 Mercury Cougar. This is an original part (not a reproduction). The part is in excellent working condition. This is a “bolt in” swap if your vehicle currently has the locking version with no modifications required.
