Description: Up for sale is a 1968 CARTER QUADRAJET 7028262 - for PONTIAC 400 ENGINES - AUTO TRANS, for cars such as the GTO Firebird, Grand Prix, etc. This was originally correct for a Pontiac application. It is USED and in good shape in my opinion. Appears to have new gaskets on it. Yes, the main body has been lightly painted. The blades and everything move freely. This carb may work just fine the way it is. The numbers on this carb are: 7028262 A8 VC. This carb is being sold as is , for parts or rebuilder. It may work just fine as is. I recommend a rebuild on all carbs before using if perfection is desired. There may be missing parts that I am not aware of, see pictures and determine for yourself.
