Description: Here is a very rare factory 327 V8 Early chevy 2 nova recessed filter 4 speed clutch boss small journal engine block Cast # 3959538 date code A39 (Warranty replacement for L30 + L79 cars originally equiped with 3791362 block 275 hp 350hp Fits all 1962-1963-1964-1965-1966-1967 This block has several areas that GM beefed up in the lifter valley (see last pic) and a few other areas. It is a heavy duty block gm made some revisions on in place of the 3790721 and 3791362 nova 327 engines (pics of these areas added later) chevy 2 nova It is fresh out of the machine shop buyer gets original invoice from work done by local high performance / oem engine builder that does all work in house has been hot tanked and magnafluxed and thoroughly inspected ready to buildBlock cylinder is currently .030And is verified with dial bore guage to easily clean up at a fresh .040 The engine was running prior to dissasembly and had no issues aside from the normal wear. No sleeves never been blown up or damaged lifter bosses are very nice (old lifters came out easy) Perfect Core to build Has all its original main caps and main bolts hardware. It has never been align bored or align honed mains are perfectly straight still from the factory.
