Description: US 1965 NO Mint mark One cent ERROR coin. Fascinating coin when looked at close up. The lettering on the top "IN GOD WE TRUST" are all squashed onto the rim of this coin. After the "T" there are what appear to be the letters L.L. as raised letters impregnated on the surface. On the date above the 6 appears to be a letter "D" showing. The most interesting is in a very small letter "L", below the date number 1 on the Front of Lincoln's jacket. I would be happy for any comments about the L inscription. Never seen it before. Coin is in Fine to Very Fine Condition. Coin appears to have been circulated. Coin has NOT been cleaned or polished. As is. I am selling on behalf of a family friend, whose Mother collected this & other US coins & stamps over a 60 year period. This coin would be a great addition to any collector of US penny's or coins.
