It may contain wrinkles, cracks, and possibly even tears due to its age and how it was handled before it got to us. A scanner may interpret colors and contrast differently than human eyes will, so it is possible that the actual photograph may be slightly darker or lighter in person. Where'd they go? Saigon. "We had the place surrounded within a few minutes and I swear no one got out the back of that house. But when we came to search it there was no sign of the 12 guerrillas we had seen out front. The had completely disappeared." This experience is a common one among U.S. military advisors in South Viet Nam. The Viet Cong uses a unique series of tunnels from which to escape from houses. Here, three U.S. servicemen check a "house with nobody in it" near Cu Mong, S. Viet Nam. Photo measures 9 x 7inches. Photo is dated 9-11-1965.
