June, 1965 Disneyland ADULT Ticket book featuring 1A 1B 1C 1D 1E Tickets! Authentic ADULT LARGE SIZE 10 ADVENTURE Ticket Book. ALL TICKETS VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT CONDITION! 6” x 2.5” Paper Ticket Book. The Blue Welcome to Disneyland (which has a name written at the top and ADULT written at the bottom) and the B Ticket (serial number T510945) are both still attached to the original ticket book. The A Ticket (serial number T196959), the C Ticket (serial number F539451), the D Ticket (serial number T565900) and the E Ticket (F478026) are all from similar 1965 ticket books and inserted in this book for completion. 1965 is the last year for the "Long E Ticket." In 1966, Disneyland ticket books featured the E Ticket as the shortest ticket in the book and the A Ticket as the longest ticket. This obviously was a move to save on the cost of paper in the ticket books. Also 1965 was the very last year that Walt Disney's signature was featured on the blue Welcome To Disneyland tickets on the front of the ticket books. Walt died in January, 1966, and Walt Disney Productions replaced Walt's signature on these ticket books. Can you imagine the history this book could tell if it could talk? This ticket book is also the last year of production with the "LONG E TICKETS." This book is simply magnificent! Always check the Globe Ticket Safety watermark for authentication. Please see photo with the Disney Dating Code of 656, which identifies the year, 65 as 1965, and the month, 6 as June. Please also be sure to look for the GLOBE TICKET SAFETY logo on all Disney Theme Park tickets for authenticity. This 1965 Disneyland ticket book will display perfectly. SUITABLE FOR FRAMING!
