Description: The "telescopic horn button is shared by more than vehicle"! Since I have a Corvair Corsa I wanted a "CORSA HORN BUTTON". I have taken a "new" repo horn button. It was carefully disassembled. I purchased NOS Corsa horn button insert from Clark's Corvair. The plastic Corsa insert was then machined to fit the chrome die cast part. The 3 indexing keys were file to fit by hand. The first unit I made was from used original Chevrolet parts. I discovered the repo units dimensions are slightly different. I now know each one I may make will or might be a custom fit. I have posted a few photos that show some of the steps to crate this part. The tabs on the chrome die cast part require a bit of finesse so they do not break. As you can tell this took a few hours as there are several steps for the end product.
