The colors are vibrant and it appears as if you just pulled it off the toy shelf at Toy City in 1974. This set is still sturdy, corners are tight, all items still attached and the cellophane window is still sealed to the box. It really is a beautiful sealed set that would add bold color to any GI Joe collection. I have had this set for over 20 years. You don’t find many GI Joe sets in “case fresh” appearance and when you do they always command a higher price because of their increasing rarity. As these sets continue to get older unfortunately, many more will be lost to weather, bad luck, or both. This set is a 100% authentic from 1974 and is still in mint condition. The shipping cost is to insure that it arrives in the same condition it leaves, MINT. l will not spare any expense in packaging and protecting it to make that happen.
