Among border areas of metropolitan Milwaukee, the Elm-Grove Brookfield section has shown amazing gains. With 2,118 dwelling units back in 1950, it reported a total of 8,590 last year, an increase of some 306%. Population meanwhile jumped from 7,425 in 1950 to last year's reported 31,100 a gain of 319%. This aerial view shows a portion of Elm Grove, looking to the south. At the extreme lower right is the Elm Grove Village Hall. The bisecting line is the Milwaukee road track.
