Book is LIGHTLY EX-LIBRARY with tiny rubber stamps on the 3 visible edges of the text block (see scan #s 3 & 4 to see how this was done); private collection bookplate on the front pastedown; rubber stamp inside rear cover: almost unnoticed abrasion at bottom of spine where a Shelf sticker was removed; NO OTHER MARKINGS: No call #, nothing else on the backstrip, no markings on the title page; no card pocket at rear of book...............This was bought legally at the recent auction of Birmingham Southern College's Rare Book Room. The college is closing after 150+ years and the rare books were sold off to help defray the expenses of closing down the campus . . . . . . . . . . . .
