Description: The program has wear on the front and back cover, including a crease on the top right on the front. There are no issues with the interior of the program. All of the pages are secure, and there are no tears. The lineup is included and has been folded. Numerous pictures were taken to assist with the condition and content of the program and lineup. The 1961 Volunteer 500 was held at Bristol International Speedway on July 30th. This was the first Grand National race held at the new half-mile paved track. A field of 42 cars started the race with Fred Lorenzen starting on the pole. The 25,000 fans watched Jack Smith, with relief help from Johnny Allen, win the race by two laps over Fireball Roberts. Finishing third was Ned Jarrett, followed by Richard Petty and Buddy Baker. Please review the other racing items I have listed at the eBay store, The Checkered Past. I will combine shipping and provide a refund on shipping charges for anything over cost. Thanks!
