There are 3 separate cels, since each character is on a separate layer, including the boy, the girl, and the top hat mascot (who to many is reminiscent of Sid & Marty Krofft's "Lidsville" children's TV show). We are unsure of the exact date, but it is done circa 1960s or 1970's for the production of the classic cartoon commercial. It also includes a separate paper printed background image that the cels are placed on top of. The Magic Puffs cereal box is part of the print, along with the green hill they are standing on and the trees, which are all printed images. The full cells measure approximately 12 1/2" by 10 1/2", and are standard hand-painted 3-peghole cells with small dust/dirt spots and paint flecks. The background print image is on paper measuring approximately 11" by 12 1/2", and has some general wear with crinkling/creasing at the edges. This is an outstanding vintage piece, and a fantastic example to own. This is an outstanding collectible piece that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and is a must-have for the collection of any fan and a perfect gift.
