1960s Vintage Ideal Toys Tammy Doll Case Red Fashion Doll Tammy

Description: For sale is the hard to find doll carrying case for Ideal Toys Tammy doll featuring an illustration of a Tammy-inspired young fashionista. The case does not have the usual painted words in white, “Tammy By Ideal” on it, as if the result of a production error. A faint outline is visible and does not appear to be attributable to a rub-off. The case is approximately 13" x 11” and has a red plastic carrying handle and buckle latch closure on the side panel. Interior has a vertical compartment, metal clothes hanging loop, and a red vinyl accessory compartment with attached lid. Condition: Very good vintage used condition except the words “Tammy” and “By Ideal” on the front panel are not present (just a very faint outline). The red vinyl is bright and shiny, the illustration is in very good condition with just a faint red mark, like a color transfer, is on the lower right (see photos). The upper right side panel has a dark discoloration on the vinyl. Very mild oxidization on all metal parts and very mild scratches and scuffs from age, use and storage. Interior is clean and free from discoloration, rips, tears, stains and foul odors.
