Description: Exceptional Vintage Mid-20th Century "AH" Series Lavender Bitossi Cylindrical Vase with Banded Artwork hand-produced in Italy dating to c.1960. For auction is this striking vintage Mid-20th Century Modern hand-produced art pottery vase by the renowned Italian manufacturer Bitossi and originally sold through the retailer Rosenthal Netter, dating from c.1960. This exceptional pottery piece from Bitossi's "AH" series feature bold and distinctive banded artwork that wraps around the cylindrical form of the vase. Colours include lavender purple contrasted by mauve, light blue, dark blue, red, white and black with a lustrous glaze finish. This vase measures approximately 10" height by 4.25" diameter. The vase is in near-mint condition and presents beautifully with absolutely no damages. This unit is not stamped or hand-marked to the base. The vase was likely originally marked with only a paper label. Beautiful as standalone Italian decorative arts piece or in a larger Mid-Century pottery collection.
