The Stage deli was owned by Max Asnes, who became known as the "Corned Beef Confucius". He took an 84 seat deli and turned it into a multi million dollar operation that drew the rich and famous to his door. The postcard features some well known Hollywood faces of the day, including Milton Berle, Walter Winchell, Joan Blondell, Eddie Cantor, Mae West, Fred Allen and more.
