Description: This vintage mid-century coat exudes classic sophistication and timeless elegance. This original piece is in excellent condition and is sure to become a cherished addition to any vintage clothing collection. Please look at all the photos for specific details. In beautiful condition with sateen green lining throughout, including pockets and interior sleeves. On the back side of the sateen lining is an additional layer as seen in the photos, adding to its warmth. Three accent large buttons to close the coat, and a hook at the mint stole collar to close that tight as well. The stitching is top-notch quality - the worker who created this piece did a wonderful job and this coat was well kept. Also included in the photos is a copy of a letter written specifically mentioning where the tag was to be sewn in and this coat follows that direction. This would have been a grandmother’s estate piece in our family. She always was the epitome of classic elegance throughout her 86 years before her passing in 1995. To further assist the buyer, because no sizing is included, I am including FLAT measurements, however, please look at these as APPROXIMATE, as they are to my best ability: from shoulder to bottom coat hem: 37 inches; measuring under the arm at the seam down to end of wrist cuff 13 1/2 inches; under the arm seam straight across to the other side (chest area) 20 inches; when the top button is secure, the neck from side to side 5 3/4 inches; from the end of the mink over the shoulders to the other side 17 inches.
