Description: This beautiful Zuni petit point turquoise cluster pin / broach was most likely made by a talented Zuni artist in the 1960's - 70's. There are no stamps or markings which is typical for the period. The stones are very nice and intact with 8 small round stones at its center and two rows of petit point surrounding it. It is approximately 2" in diameter and weighs approximately 21.5 grams. We have not cleaned it as the antiquing and patina is part of its beauty. It can probably be converted (at your own risk) to a pendant by a very knowledgeable jeweler who understands the nature of the antiquity and turquoise stones. This broach was purchased for our gallery in 1992 and has been in our inventory/vault, not worn since then. It was a vintage piece at the time of our purchase and is in excellent condition. Collector's piece. Serious offers only, please. Please follow our store for more exciting contemporary and traditional Native American pieces from a variety of artists and tribal affiliations (Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, Santo Domingo, Taos).
