House is credited with 10 years of service in the majors. He signed with Detroit in ‘49, and from 49 to 51, House splits time between Detroit and the minors. In ‘52 and ‘53, House serves in the Military. He returned in ‘54 to the Tigers and had three years with them and batted .252 in 416 games. In ‘58, House is traded to the Athletics in a massive trade of players He plays two years in KC and bats .242 as a part time player. He plays briefly with Cincinnati before returning to Detroit, and after a short stay in the minors, he leaves the game in ‘62.
