Description: For sale here are the instructions package for a 1957 Leica MP, specifically serial number 98. Through all of my searching on the internet, I have not seen another come up for sale or auction. The camera this belonged to was owned by Joe De Casseres who won the New York Art Directors award several times. Included in this listing is the brown envelope with the serial number 98 clearly stamped. Inside is a Leica M3 manual, a Leicavit manual, an MP instruction supplement to the M3 manual (dated 08/57), and a notice explaining the shutter speed differences between the MP and a standard M3 (dated 04/57). This would be perfect if you own the black MP-98, or if you want to frame and display some of the rarest of Leica memorabilia.
