Description: This is restored windshield wiper motor for a 1955 to 1957 Chevy passenger car. The part number is for a 1956 (5047905) but it will fit all three years. The wiper motor looks great. The problem is it is a little noisy when it runs. I think the armature shaft is a little bent so it sounds like the RPM's are going up and down. This would be perfect for a trailered show car or one that is rarely driven. I would not recommend this for a car that is regularly driven. The motor works fine and will get you through a rain storm in a pinch but it might be a little annoying listening to it for an extended period. Check out my other items for sale.
