Upgrade your 55-59 Chevy truck from a single to a Corvette-style dual reservoir master cylinder with this kit. Includes high quality brackets that are laser cut with a very attractive black finish. When the master cylinder is mounted lower than the calipers, such as in an underfloor setup, the brake system can bleed pressure, requiring the use of inline residual valves. Gravity and vibration can cause brake fluid to leak back to the master cylinder away from the calipers, causing a loss of brake pressure. These valves will act as a one way check valve that prevents this type of bleed-back. Also available in 4-wheel-disc and 4-wheel-drum brake applications.
