These can be found on ebay misrepresented as a NEW item. These are definitely RE-MANUFACTURED. We want to be honest with our customers, unlike other sellers. Please beware of other companies trying to misrepresent this particular item. These are fully re-manufactured here in the U.S.A. by Mullins/Borgeson in Connecticut. All box internals are inspected and all seals replaced. Hard parts are either re-machined or replaced as needed. All boxes are chemically cleaned inspected and painted and the torsion bars are inspected and are replaced as needed. All boxes are adjusted and pressure tested on our bench before they are shipped and the sector shaft is machined to fit the factory pitman arm. These are very nice units and will replace 605-style gear boxes with the use of a new set of power steering hoses (16mm and 18mm end sizes), and a new 18 DD rag joint (not included). Available separately and definitely needed when switching from a 605. We offer other NEW (not re-manufactured) 500-Series™ steering boxes that are a direct 605 replacement. See our other auctions.
