Description: The Wharf Restaurant, Seattle, WA, 1952; Large inaugural menu from The Wharf restaurant at Fishermen’s Terminal on Salmon Bay in Seattle, Washington, measuring 15" x 10". The front of the menu is believed to be inspired by an oil painting on glass made for the establishment’s Moby Dick dining room by Jack C. Corsaw, one of the leading artists and murals painters on the Pacific Coast. They’re lovely vignettes of fishermen at work. The menu is marked bottom right corner "LITHO. MADE IN U.S.A." The menu is in good used condition with the following noted: very minor crease line bottom right corner back cover, and minor wear from years in storage. If you have any questions, need additional information or scans, please contact me, the photos/scans are part of the description. I have other menus listed and will be happy to combine shipping, just wait for my invoice. Please keep in mind this item is over 70 years old and was used in a restaurant and had been in storage for years.
