Description: Item is a scarce late 1940’s - 1950's vintage LeCoultre Desk Clock Weather Station. It features a timeless Art Deco design in a golden finish with black enameled digits/markers. It is powered by a quality swiss-made manual wind mechanical movement alarm clock, a matching barometer, and a thermometer. Piece measures 5 1/8 inches wide, 3 7/16 inches tall, 1 1/4 inches thick. This highly desirable LeCoultre product is in the absolutely beautiful vintage original condition in which it was located within a local estate. It has been in storage for a very long while, and the clock will require to be serviced by a watchmaker as it winds/sets, and will run intermittently, and then restarted manually with a light swing of the balance. Unsure as to how the alarm works. The balance has very good motion. The thermometer, and barometer appear to function very well. The case, dial, and crystal appear to be excellent. This is a vintage piece, and as such it is being offered "as is, as found" with “no guarantee, no warranty”. Buyer pays insured shipping.
