The top is lined in nylon. The skirt is a ruffled lace with texture and dimension. It has 3 layers. The outside lace, a stiff nylon net, and a inner stiff paper/poly pellon. A matching velveteen belt creates a cummerbund effect. ConditionNo stains, holes, or tears. The paper pellon is in very good condition. I often see it torn, but this is very intact and stiff. It feels to be a hardier brand then I usually see. It may have some polyester in the paper. What Diane Likes About This DressThis is a really interesting and unusual dress. The top is spare and the neckline has a lovely line. Very Audrey Hepburn, that neckline. It frames the face beautifully and emphasizes the neck and collar bone. The skirt has a lot of textural interest. The layers underneath give it a bit of a bell shape. I think this dress has it all. It is elegant and flattering, yet fun and whimsical.
