The Original finish shows the flaws and checking you would expect of a vintage, played guitar, but still nicer than most. Flaws may consist of scratches, dings, chips, finish checking/cracking and finish wear, but still a extremely respectable player (see all pics). The fingerboard and frets are in great condition, showing minor wear and plays great as is. The hardware is still in nice shape, but does show some age and discoloring. The tuning pegs look newer, but appear to be a direct replacement, so no extra holes. The back of the neck and head stock are in good condition, with one inlay missing on the headstock and associated flaws from age/play as pictured. The original pick guard is also in great shape (see pics). This guitar was professionally checked with proper lighting, and there are NO signs of repairs or refinishing. The neck is nice and straight with a chunky profile, great action and plays perfectly! One of the better playing and sounding Kay's I've played. The bridge appears original with room on the saddle for adjustment.
