Description: 1950’S FENTON LARGE HOBNAIL TURQUOISE AQUA MILK GLASS PEDESTAL CANDY DISH This is a highly sought after American made piece of Fenton turquoise/aqua hobnail milk glass. You will not see a Fenton signature on the bottom because Fenton wasn't marked until almost a decade later.The beautiful pastel blue glossy color is amazing. In the pictures you may notice some shading from the lights, but this piece in the same unique turquoise color throughout. Some other charming characteristics of this candy dish are its scalloped edges and the hobnail design. Note in the pictures the different sized hobnails on the round bowl and round bottom of the piece. Ours is priced significantly lower than others, but that's not because it has issues. We found none! This candy dish is in remarkable condition for its age. Ours has no lid, although I think it could be purchased with or without.BEFORE PACKING it carefully so that this hard to find dish makes it safely from us to you, it measures approximately 5 3/4” tall, 5 3/4” round on top, 4” round base and weighs about two pounds.
