Description: Original early 1930’s to 1950’s Ajs and Matchless motorcycle cylinder barrel and hepolite piston, 500cc long stroke single, the barrel is iron will fit all period machines, very good condition no damage to any fins, ok looking bore still some cross hatching can bee seen still some stains but no scars or scratches - piston fits nicely but no rings or pin or circles just the piston, , bore measures approx 82.5 mm measured with a caliper which appears to be .5 from standard bore these are getting very scarce in any condition. casting number is 45G8LE1. Good clean useable core for restoration just need ring in my opinion.
