1950s A Ladies View of Les POLO Les Dames Novelty Vintage Fabric Barkcloth Era

Description: The spectacularness of the novelty patterns of the 40's and 50's are simply unparalleled when it comes to fabrics in our history...it was a time of cuteness...smaller prints...oftentimes people doing people things...and in this case a day watching POLO from Les Dames point of view in a colorful iconic perspective akin to the colors of Howard Johnsons! This offering is for ONE very large unused unwashed immaculate heavier piece of novelty fabric...while it is unused...I do not for the life of me know what happened to the selvedge edges...they are cut in some places...not in others...and uneven and just plain weird...I was going to trim it...but I don't like to do that to vintage fabrics...so I am leaving that to the next person. A clean white ground...pops of fabulous tangerine tangy orange...creamy turquoise blue green...chartreuse lemon yellow...with chocolate lines. I am sure this is factory made for commercial projects and not something sold in stores...hence the wider 54 inches...used for commercial printing machines...souvenirs possibly...and maybe why the edges were not respected. Measures 54 inches wide x 100 inches long. Clean as can be...spotless...bold bright and wonderful. Flawless. I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help.
