Description: My siblings and I have been giving the task of going through very old boxes of memorabilia from our grandparents and great grandparents. I am sorting them into categories for the next generation. This newspaper clipping was found with the general items from my parents and grandparents but as far as I know, it really has nothing to do with my family. It was just something that they found interesting/terrible. It is the picture of a trolley car that was hit by a truck and everyone inside the street car was killed because they were unable to escape through any of the windows or doors. It is much different from photographs. We would see today because you can see the bodies inside the trolley car. This would mean nothing to anyone in my family so in case you are a collector of this type of memorabilia perhaps it is right up your alley. It is from a newspaper in Chicago dated May 26, 1950 the photo is by Bud DALEY the page was folded, and as I unfolded it, I did tear it along one of the folds, but it could easily be taped from behind. It is not ripped it is just, torn on the fold
