Description: POSTAGE POLICY : PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BUYING Postage has become so expensive because sellers have needed to charge for tracking to prove the item has been posted. But there is a better way. I can charge normal postage price $5.50 instead of $20.50 and my husband takes the postage to our post office (we live in the country) and when it is stamped and ready to be sent, he takes a photo of each item. The photo shows who it is sent to, the address and the date. The photo can be shown if there is any doubt about it being posted. It is my "proof of postage". Ebay accepts the photos as proof of postage and will not support claims of "item not received". The last listing I did was 600 philatelic items and none were lost. INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE: $5.50 to all places and for combined items. Articles bigger than the normal size are more depending on how big they are. REGISTERED INTERNATIONAL POST: $20.50 and $31.85 for larger items DOMESTIC POSTAGE: $2.00 Registered post is $6.00 So if you still want registered post please tell me before paying because it is difficult after someone has paid. COMBINED POST: I will always combine items until the envelope becomes too thick. On rare occasions I might need to use two separate envelopes when a buyer has bought a lot of items. STAMP VALUATION Some stamp listings have an included catalogue price. Multiple catalogues have been used to determine the value. Standard catalogues, Michel, Gibbons and Scott cover most items. Where the item is more esoteric, reputable auction houses like Cherrystone etc. and current demand provide a guide to price.
