Description: The following, though similar on many listing, is not merely canned language I use in every listing. If in my opinion the card is inconsistent with the grade (whether better or worse) or there are defects not clearly visible in the photos, I say so. Please see my other listings here! Card pictured is exact card you will receive. This is a great example of a 75-year-old card. There is some light wrinkling on close inspection which accounts for the grade, but this card presents really well for a 1.5. But great centering and coloring give this card outstanding eye appeal for the grade. A great way to own a pre-1950 Hall-of-Famer at a low price. Interesting facts: By WAR, 1949 was Kell's second best year, just a touch behind his 1950 campaign. He led the league in average at .343. He never had an OPS over .900, but came closest in 1949 at .892. He was eighth in MVP voting. Ted Williams finished first. He also batted .343, but Kell's advantage by .00015508 points prevented Williams from winning what would have been his seventh batting title.
