Description: 1948-52 Ford Truck Disc Drum Power Brake Booster Frame Mount Pedal Assembly Kit Description: This is a brand new 1948-1952 Ford truck frame mount brake pedal with a 7" dual booster master cylinder and proportioning valve kit. This setup is used for disc/drum brakes. They are often used under the floor of street rods and hot rods. 7" dual booster offers 27% better stopping power over 7" single boosters, making this setup much better for increased safety on your vehicle. The master cylinder is a Corvette style master cylinder with a 1" bore(9/16" & 1/2" Ports on each side) . Mounting holes measure 3 3/8" center to center. This is a four port master cylinder, so you can use the ports on whichever side you need and block the others. It includes plugs for the ports you do not use. This is a great upgrade over a standard GM style master. Include a disc/drum proportioning valve. Also included in this kit is a 2 pound residual valve for the front discs and a 10 pound residual valve for the rear drum brakes. These residuals prevent loss of brake pressure. They run in-line and act as a one way check valve and prevent fluid from bleeding back to the master cylinder. These valves are a MUST when mounting your master cylinder under the floor. This is a must for any disc brake conversion or power brake upgrade.
