Description: This WWII era Sylvania Navy 5U4G vacuum tube tests: 56-54/40 on my TV-7D tester (calibrated 1/27/24). Brand new tubes should test 62-62/40 or higher. Tested for shorts, emission, and noise. The date E4 on the glass under the 5U4G mark signifies May of 1954. This has two central support rods, hanging filaments and black plates. It has a small D getter. It is used and measures roughly 89% of new on my tester. The letter “U” is scratched into the base as shown in the third picture. No clue why. It comes with a vintage Sylvania box but I’m doubtful that is the original box. The box is in rough shape but very cool! I do not accept returns unless the items are not as described. Please look at the pictures and ask me any questions BEFORE buying anything. I’m in the process of listing thousands of tubes. If you want something in particular message me to see if I have it. Thanks!
