Von Rundstedt and Rommel are known to have been at odds over defense plans, and it is rumored that Rommel has been removed from command of the German Seventh and Fifteenth Mobile Armies, formed for strategic counterattacks against the invasion. Karl Rudolf Gerd von Rundstedt was a German Generalfeldmarschall during World War II. Born into a Prussian family with a long military tradition, von Rundstedt entered the Prussian Army in 1892. During World War I, he served mainly as a staff officer. Photo is Dated: June 6, 1944. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC PHOTO, NOT A COPY OR SCANS. Photo Measures Approximately: 6.75 x 10 Inches.
