Description: I bought this rod from Per Brandin some years ago and have fished it one-two trout per year. It remains in the same excellent condition as when I purchased it. Per's original description is in the photo's. I have a few additions or modifications. First, I think the varnish does not show the wear that Per mentions. It looks like a rod that is 5 years old except for the wear on the butt cap and the ridging in the cork (I think the ridging is more pronounced than Per indicates). He does not say how much fun this rod is to use. If you want, it will cast a very long line, but it is very delicate and accurate close in. Despite very fine tips (finer than any other 4 or 5 wt. that I have fished), the rod is on the fast side of medium and can handle any size trout (perfect for 10"-20" fish, in my opinion).
