Description: 1940s or 50s vintage undersea octopus print Shaheen shorts. This is such a rare print! It has been reproduced a lot but these are originals and a nice larger size. The fabric is cotton and they are lined. They don’t have a swim trunk lining and they have a zipper fly so they are shorts that were probably part of a cabana set. They have an elastic section of the waistband in back and the waist fastens with coconut buttons. It has a little coin pocket. Apparently the bottom of the zipper was damaged so the bottom couple of inches of the zipper has been sewn up. My husband tried these on and he had no problem getting them on but the zipper could also easily be replaced. I can even supply a metal zipper that’s the right size. There are no other issues and the colors are bright. The measurements are: 38-40” waist 15.75” out seam 4” inseam 14” leg opening laying flat
