England -Private Harold Roberts 18 year old member of the Northern Regiment who has been commended in a Ministry of Information Bulletin for Gallantry and Complete Disregard of Danger when a Lorry to which a Balloon was attached when a Lorry to which a Balloon was attached was struck by lighting. Private Roberts was flung clear of the Lorry and although badly burned crawled back and dragged out two of his companions. Photo measures 6 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 09-28-1939.
