"Underwood & Underwood. New York, N.Y. One of the most important American makers of stereograph cards, the company published many postcards in the early twentieth century, most notable circa 1911-1912, these imitative of RPPCs and covering many subjects. These are of very high quality. The company was sold to the Keystone View C o., of Meadville, PA, in 1921".
