Description: This 1937 Lincoln is probably one of my favorite just because it looks so cool. There is extreme doubling in the date, as you can see. On the face of, Lincoln has been pressed many times, causing it to be flatted out to give it such a cool look. I call it my monster coin. Along the rim of the coin, you can see above where the letters run around the edge of the coin. There are areas where the letters are stamped on the top of the rim. The reverse has doubled everywhere. If you look close at the center of the reverse side, you will notice it looks slightly raised from all of the material of Lincoln face being struck multiple times. I love these types of coins because they are truly one of one in the design of the error. I am sorry for the high starting price, but I really don't want to sell this, but I must try. Look, I don't know for sure if this is mult struck or not. I do know 100% that it is an error caused in the minting process. This is not weathering or some post mint damage. I have studied this coin every which way and have described what I observe. This coin should be sent off, but unfortunately, time and money are not on my side right now. If you like errors like this, then this is a great coin for you!!!
