Description: This is a Rare 1937 local Orange County NY History Book titled “Silver Jubilee Celebration / Church of Saint Stanislaus – Pine Island / New York 1912-1937”. The 96-page softcover, includes text as well as B&W photos & many local sponsor ads. The Church is of Polish decent, and is Roman Catholic. It was published for their 25th anniversary. The book is in Poor condition, with; a detached cover from the inner pages; tears along the edges of the cover; & a loose title page inside. As a BONUS I’m including a vintage 1932 Confirmation certificate, for a patron of the church. The 9” x 13 ½” document, has a beautiful color illustration of a Priest blessing the children, and is filled out along the bottom with particulars about the confirmed child, with headings in Polish. This certificate is unfortunately in poor condition, with multiple creases & a fold across the center. It is interesting though, as it shows the ornate interior of a Deco era Catholic church.
