This Arkansas Centennial Robinson Half Dollar was was engraved by Henry Kreis and was struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the admission of Arkansas into the Union. The obverse of the Arkansas Centennial Robinson Half Dollar, designed by Everett Burr, features an eagle perched upon a rising sun holding a banner inscribed IN GOD WE TRUST at left and E PLURIBUS UNUM at right. The reverse of the1936 Arkansas Centennial Robinson Silver Commemorative Half Dollar shows a portrait of Senator Joseph T. Robinson who was still living at the time his portrait was used. This classic commemorative half dollar is comprised of .900 silver and .100 copper (90% Silver), has a diameter of 30.6mm, and weighs 12.5 grams.
