Description: It is a 1934 Philco 84 radio. I am going to sell for a restoration project. The original grill cloth is torn. The very back of the radio has a gap in two plys of wood (where the sides end in back). The new owner will repair that. There is an added 1/4" input jack on one side of the radio (for an external speaker, earphones). I believe this is an add on.The ac cord is torn up right where it comes out of the back. It will need to be replaced before plugging it in. I will leave that and all the other repairs it will need for the new owner. Nothing has been tested. I am selling this radio for a restoration project.Specifications:: Number of Tubes4Valves / Tubes77 77 42 80Main principleSuperheterodyne (common); ZF/IF 460 kHz; Super, reaction, but not adjustableTuned circuits3 AM circuit(s)Wave bandsBroadcast only (MW).Power type and voltageAlternating Current supply (AC) / 115 VoltLoudspeakerElectro Magnetic Dynamic LS (moving-coil with field excitation coil)MaterialWooden casefrom Radiomuseum.orgModel: 84B [Early] - Philco, Philadelphia Stg.
