A Century of Progress International Exposition, also known as the Chicago World's Fair, was a world's fair held in the city of Chicago, Illinois, United States, from 1933 to 1934. The theme of the fair was technological innovation, and its motto was "Science Finds, Industry Applies, Man Adapts", trumpeting the message that science and American life were wedded. Its architectural symbol was the Sky Ride, a transporter bridge perpendicular to the shore on which one could ride from one side of the fair to the other. On the front of each crumb catcher is the Hall of Science, Chicago. The larger one measures about 5.25 inches wide x 4 inches tall x .5 inches deep The smaller one measures about 3.75 inches wide x 2.4 inches tall x .25 inches deep. On the bottom, reads: Made in Japan. I believe this was produced by N. Shure Co. Chicago Nearly 90 years old!
