Description: Beautiful sounding early 1930s RCA 44-A Ribbon Microphone. The 44-A was the higher quality predecessor to the 44BX and features an improved bass response and wonderful tonal quality. The sound quality is on par with my vintage KU-2A. IMO the 1930s high end RCA ribbon microphones were some of the finest microphones ever manufactured. New high quality Belden cable and a gold plated Neutrik XLR connector. Wear is consistent with age - please see the photos. Stand adapter included. Sold as fully functional but as-is due to age.
